Colleen is one of if not the sweetest person i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not to mention ridiculously beautiful, and amazingly talented! This girl is a stunner!:) Everything she does is heartfelt and genuine. I have had the pleasure of getting to know her after shows and hanging out with her and the band on the beach. She is a lovely lady. It’s not too often you come across people as pure and kind hearted as Colleen, but she is truly an angel on earth. When i am around her i do not feel like just any other fan, i feel like a friend and someone she truly cares about, and thats because she really does care about her fans, which is another quality rare in the music industry. Colleen writes all of the lyrics with help from the other bandmates, and let me tell you…the girl can belt a tune like you have never heard! Her voice is powerful and smooth and for lack of better words BEAUTIFUL. She sings her heart out because music is her love. Along with her singing abilities she is also an artist. I own one of her paintings and love it! She is a multi-talented young lady, and she is going to be huge! I can see her and the band going far beyond their dreams and expectations! I know deep in my heart that not only will her talent get her far but also her heart! so Colleen here is fan page for you, one of the most beautiful souls i have encountered…YOU! :)
so update.. right now The Material is in the studio recording their first full length album!! yes yes i am soooo excited!! i have loved their music from the second my ears were exposed and i havent stopped listening since!!Every single song is incredible and fun and catchy, but also deep in the lyrics. this band puts their hearts and souls into their music! so with that being said i KNOW their album will be AMAZING! i cannot wait to see what they walk out of the studio with, whatever it is, is sure to blow you away!
i apologize for not updating more often, they were in a transitioning stage from their old drummer Noah (we love you Noah) to their new drummer Mr. Kevin Pintado! so i am also stoked to announce their first show with their new drummer Kevin will be June 19th at the Epicentre in San Diego,Ca.. so if you can come out please do! It will be a show you do NOT want to miss, they are incredible live and would love to see your faces! :)
